Community Guidelines

✓ DO:

• Listen actively and give others space to share their experiences
• Communicate respectfully, even when you disagree
• Maintain confidentiality of what's shared in sessions and events
• Report concerns to our team if you witness violations
• Honor boundaries set by practitioners and other members
• Provide constructive feedback through appropriate channels
• Support others in their growth and healing journey
• Be patient as people work through their challenges

✗ DON'T:

• Harass, bully, or threaten other members or practitioners
• Share personal information about others without consent
• Promote products or services outside of your practitioner profile
• Give medical or mental health advice unless you're a qualified practitioner
• Discriminate based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any other characteristic
• Engage in romantic or sexual advances toward other members in professional contexts
• Share graphic or triggering content without appropriate warnings
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your qualifications

Before the Event

• Complete required application and verification processes
• Read and accept event-specific waivers and agreements
• Test your technology to ensure smooth participation
• Arrive on time and be prepared to engage

During the Event

• Keep your camera on unless instructed otherwise (builds trust and connection)
• Mute yourself when not speaking to minimize background noise
• Use the chat respectfully - no spam, harassment, or off-topic discussion
• Respect the practitioner's facilitation and guidance
• Avoid interrupting others - use "raise hand" features when available
• Do not record sessions unless explicitly permitted
• Be mindful of time limits during sharing opportunities

After the Event

• Maintain confidentiality of what was shared
• Provide constructive feedback through proper channels
• Report any concerns to the platform immediately
• Continue supporting fellow participants in their journey

In addition to general community guidelines, practitioners must:

• Maintain professional boundaries with all clients
• Accurately represent your credentials, experience, and specialties
• Provide quality services as described in your offerings
• Respond promptly to inquiries and communications
• Honor commitments to scheduled sessions and events
• Comply with commission agreements and payment terms
• Report technical or safety issues immediately
• Maintain liability insurance for live events and workshops
• Follow all applicable laws and licensing requirements in your jurisdiction

What's shared in the community stays in the community.

• Do not share others' personal stories, experiences, or identifiable information outside the platform
• Avoid taking screenshots or recordings of sessions without explicit permission
• Respect anonymity requests from other members
• Keep workshop and event content confidential

Exception: If someone shares intent to harm themselves or others, or discloses illegal activity, you should report this to IGotLove staff immediately.

If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines:

• Report it immediately using the reporting feature or emailing [email protected]
• Provide specific details (date, time, nature of violation, people involved)
• Include screenshots or evidence if available
• Do not engage with or retaliate against the person

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Your report will be kept confidential.

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Warning: First-time or minor infractions
• Temporary suspension: Repeated or moderate violations
• Permanent ban: Serious violations including harassment, fraud, or anti-circumvention
• Legal action: Criminal activity or violations causing significant harm

We reserve the right to take action at our discretion based on the severity and context of the violation.
